BASSMENT x KIRIN ICHIBAN – Welcome to Aotearoa
BASSMENT turns 10 next year, and we’re marking the milestone with a new partnership we’re truly proud of: Kirin Ichiban. As a Japanese founder and longtime fan of the beer, it’s exciting to see Kirin Ichiban launch in New Zealand. To celebrate their arrival and our partnership, we’ve created something special for the BASSMENT community—a limited edition premium varsity jacket. Only 50 will be made, each individually numbered, and available this November.
The jacket reflects decades of experience in streetwear, designed with the same principles that guide both BASSMENT and Kirin Ichiban: uncompromising quality and a commitment to authenticity. Just as Ichiban’s manifesto speaks to mastery through principle, BASSMENT has spent the last decade building a genuine platform and supporting local artists without shortcuts. Both brands share the same spirit—the drive to create something lasting, to transform ideas into culture, and to stay true to a vision.
This collaboration isn’t just about a jacket. It’s about a shared ethos—where BASSMENT’s decade of building authentic culture meets Kirin Ichiban’s heritage and uncompromising principles. Together, we’re welcoming Kirin Ichiban to Aotearoa with something powerful, rooted in respect for tradition, creativity, and a vision for the future.
